Kernel Silo

Type                : Circular section, conical bottom.

Capacity          : 30 cu. meters each.

Construction   :

  • Shell fabricated from 5 mm thick m.s plate and reinforced with channel 100 mm.
  • Bottom cone fabricated from 7 mm thick m.s plate.
  • Column of 150 x 150 x 15 mm m.s angle bar and braced with 75 x 75 x 7 mm angle bar.
  • Fitted internally with circular row of buffle plate fabricated from 4 mm thick m.s plate.
  • Provision of side ventilation holes.
  • At the kernel silo provide with a below fan rated on 14.000 m³/hour at 150 mm w.g and driven by 18,5 kW/ 25 Hp Teco, Electrim electromotor , make PHOENIX or NOVENCO with electromotor through V-belts and pulley.
  • Fan would be centrifugal type.
  • Provided with internal air ducting c/w one (1) set steam air heaters, heated by steam at 3.0 kg/cm² and controlled valve, c/w all fittings temperature assembly consisting of sight-glass, non return valve, trap condensate piping etc.
  • Inverted cone bottom c/w chute and a rotary feeder.
  • Provided with top platform c/w 1” and 1¼” dia. black steel pipe hand-rails, access stairs and hoop ladder.

Dimension       : 2.600 mm dia. cross section with 6.000 mm cylindrical of silo height.

Accessories     : A temperature gauge of dial face type dia. 150 mm, 0 – 100 degree C.

Kernel Silo

Wet Shell Transport System

Ventury feeder :

  • Fabricated from 6 mm thick M.S plate.
  • One (1) chute c/w ventury air palte.

Ducting :

  • One (1) lot ducting fabricated from 150 mm dia. black steel pipes withflange connection.
  • All bend of square section with transformer distance piece.

Cyclone :

  • One (1) cyclone of 900 mm dia.
  • Fabricated from 5 mm plate of welded construction.
  • Top whirling chamber, flanged connection.

Fan :

  • One (1) Blow fan with capacity 8.000 cu.m air per hour, at 500 mm w.g
  • Fan speed 2.900 rpm.
  • Driven by 22 kW/ 30 Hp Teco, Electrim electromotor using pulley and v-belt.

Claybath Separation System

The system (in one set) consist of :

1) Mixer and Clay Solution Tank

Quantity          : One (1) unit

Construction   :

  • The tank divided with two (2) section and both of the tank section have a slope bottom
  • Fabricated from 6 mm thick mild steel plate of all welded construction and the top end stiffened with at 100 mm mild steel channel.
  • Base frame of the tank fabricated from 120 mm channel.
  • Provided with 100 mm dia.draining cleaning pipe c/w valve at the bottom of tank for each section.
  • One (1) section of the tank facilities for mixing the clays with water to have suitable solution, and the other one tank for holding of the clays solution.
  • Provided with 2,2 kW/ 3 Hp Teco, Electrim flange mounted type & vertical electromotor c/w Brook Hansen gearbox for stirrer 200 rpm to mix the clay solution.

Dimension       : 1,320 mm x 3,700 mm x 960 mm height.

2) Conical Separation Tank

Quantity          : One (1) unit

Construction   :

  • The tank would be a conical shape and
  • fabricated from 6 mm thick mild steel plate of all welded construction, and at the top end stiffened with 40 x 40 x 4 mm angle bar.
  • Provided with buffle plate
  • The separator tank constructed above the mixer and clay solution tank which supported by 4 nos 100 mm mild steel channel.
  • At the bottom of cone shape fitted with a 100 mm dia.black steel pipe for discharge of shell to the vibrating screen.
  • Dimension of the tank would be 1,600 mm diameter, 200 mm height for cylindrical shape and 750 mm height for cone shape.

3) Pump

Type                : Single deck

Construction   :

  • Fabricated from mild steel plate and channel
  • Walls fabricated from 5 mm thick mild steel plate
  • The screen area 1.7 square meters of 8 mesh . stainless steel
  • Screens held in by mild steel frame fitted with tension device.
  • Suspended on coil spring located on each edge and dampers preventing to the supporting frame.
  • Amplitude of vibration adjustable by means one external eccentric weight.
  • Fitted with two (2) chutes each for kernels and shells.
  • Provided with water pipe spray for cleaning kernels and shells.

Wet Kernel Elevator

Quantity          : One (1) unit.

Type                : Single chain with 1.5kW/2Hp Teco, Electrim electromotor and Brook Hansen gearbox or equivalent through sprocket and chain drive.

Capacity          : 50 tons kernel/hours.

Construction   : Bottom and boot sections fabricated from 6 mm thick m.s plate, reinforced with 50 x 50 x 5 mm m.s angle bar and fitted with 4 mm thick liner plate.

Intermediate section fabricated 5 mm thick m.s plate reinforced with 50 x 50 x 5 mm m.s angle bar. Front body consists of removable panel for easy maintenance. Bucket fabricated from 5 mm thick m.s plate with bolt high Tensile c/w spring washer and double nut.

Bearing            : Take up bearing would be fitted at the lower end of the elevator.

As the adjustable bearing c/w adjusting screws and guides. At the top shaft would be fitted flange bearing.

Wet Kernel Conveyor

Dry Kernel Separation System

Quantity          : One (1) set.

Type                : Two (2) stage vertical column type.

Capacity          : 8 tons cracked mixture/hour.

Construction   : The system would be consisting of the following:

a. 1. First Stage Separation Column (LTDS 1)

One (1) vertical column would be dropped out the heavy particles such as stone, etc. at the bottom of column, whilst the light shell and dust would be pneumatically conveyed to the shell hopper. The remaining cracked mixture separating column through a rotary valve.

  • Fabricated from 4.5 mm thick m.s plates of rectangular cross section with provision for air regulation by sliding back plate to vary cross section of column.
  • Top section connected to circular section of ducting for light particles transport by means of square/circular transformer piece.
  • The light shell and fiber particles are deposited into shell hopper and provision made for by passing the shell directly into the fiber/shell conveyor.

a. 2. First Stage Separating Column Airlock

One (1) unit airlock of 300 mm dia. fitted to separating column outlet.

  • Fabricated from m.s plate
  • Rotor 6 segments, m.s plate welded to shaft.

One (1) unit airlock of 300 mm dia. fitted to bottom of cyclone.

  • Cyclone of 1.200 mm dia. with tangential inlet of flanged connection.
  • Driven by 1,5 kW/2 HP, Teco, Electrim electromotor.

One (1) unit induced draft suction centrifugal fan.

a. 6. Transport Ducting

One (1) lot transport ducting 450 dia. for light particles from first stage separator to cyclone.

  • Fabricated from 4.5 mm thick m.s plate in flange connection.
  • All bend of square section with transformer distance piece.

b. 1. Second Stage Separation Column (LTDS 2)

One (1) vertical column for receiving the remaining cracked mixture from first stage separation for further separation.

  • Fabricated from 4.5 mm thick m.s plates of rectangular.
  • Cross section with provision for air regulation by.
  • Sliding back plate to vary cross section of ducting for light particles transport by means of square/circular transformer piece.
  • The light shell and fiber particles dropped into clay bath.
  • The kernel would be dropped directly into dry kernel transport system.

b. 2. Second Stage Separation Column Airlock

Two (2) units’ airlocks of 300 mm dia. fitted to separation column inlet and outlet section.

  • Fabricated from m.s plate.
  • Rotor 6 segments, m.s plate welded to shaft.
  • Flanged inlet and outlet connections.

b. 3. Cyclone

One (1) unit cyclone of induced draft type with top whirling chamber connected to fan intel, mounted above shell hopper.

  • Fabricated from 4.5 mm m.s plate.
  • Cyclone of 1.200 mm dia. with tangential inlet of flanged connection.

b. 4. Cyclone Airlock

One (1) unit airlock of 300 mm dia. fitted to bottom of cyclone.

50 x 50 x 5 mm m.s angle bar. Front body consists of removable panel for easy

maintenance. Bucket fabricated from 5 mm thick m.s plate with bolt high tensile

c/w spring washer and double nut.
