5. Cage Tippler.

10-ton Cage Tipper with Diameter 3.3mm, length 6.5m with fixed based roller for tipper web plate 32mm to sit. Well engineering designed steel structured to ensure light weight and rigid feature. Tipper capable of rotating the single Cage with full SFB inside Cage without vibration. Counterweight is installed to ensure smooth downturn. Calculation provided. Scope of supply complete with accessories as stated in drawing provided (tensioner; tipper chain), inclusive of Hydraulics Drive Foot bracket adn Drive Coupling.

III. Automation & Control

1. Electrical and Control Integration Works and Automation

Control Stations for Indexer Systems: Eaton proposed design comes with Feeder Panel (Qty: 1 Lot); Individual Remote Consoles (Qty: 5 Sets), to be located on-top catwalk platform and Panels for Remote IOs, to be located on the ground. Feeder Paenl is proposed to be located in Control Room together with Sterilizer Automation Panel. Each Remote Console is solid floor standing type and equipped with MIMIC diagram showing the operations on relevant equipments for Auto / Manual Control. Local Panel for each Transfer Carriage provide. Principle of design is based on Distributed Control and running on Eaton SmartWire-DT commmunication.

3. Eaton Sterilizer Automation.

One (1) set of panel sterilizer automation interlocked with Sterilizer Doors for Indexing Systems. Panel design w/ MIMIC is for 2 Sterilizers, with Eaton Galileo SCADA; Eaton XV152 Series HMI/PLC, IP65 rating, (10.4”) catered for 2 x Sterilizers with Microsoft CE Operating Systems; or efficient operation, which is with IEC-61131 CoDeSys language.

Main Control Board together with proximity switches, pressure transmitter, and cabling systems.

Sterilizer Control Systems are for automation 3 Steam Valves sequencing per Sterilizer. 10 different programs possible.

  • Inlet: 8” High Performance Butterfly Valve with Metal Seat c/w ON/Off type Pneumatic Actuator with Auto Declutchable Manual Override Handwheel and Mounting Bracket & Adaptor with matching flanges, bolts, nuts, washer and Gasket

4. Eaton Automatic Back Pressure Control Panel

One set of BPV control panel c/w HMI/PLC Operator’s interface and pressure transmitter and pressure switchfor BP Vessel with standard accessories. High presure rating, low limit pressure switch. Cables, cable tray, conduits from BPC Panel to Valves. Include following Valves for Back Pressure Receiver :

  • 3” Globe Control Valve c/w Pneumatic Actuator (Positioner) a delta-P of approximately 29 Bar with positional controls (4-20mA). – Full Modulating Valve, Mounting Bracket & Adaptor with matching flanges, bolts, nuts, washer and Gasket.   (Steam Make Up).

Ketel rebusan jenis Vertical Sterilizer ini di desain untuk tekanan kerja uap 3.5 bar berkapasitas 25 ton TBS per Cycle perebusan dengan pintu charge atas dan discharge bawah jenis clutch door system buka tutup dan lock ring menggunakan hydraulic power pack.

Untuk memasukkan buah, ketel rebusan ini di lengkapi dengan telescopic chute dan sliding dor yang terpasang pada conveyor pembagi yang digerakkan oleh hydraulic cylinder. Pada posisi pintu discharge dilengkapi dengan ” Auger” screw conveyor untuk bantu keluarkan TBS yang sudah masak yang dapat di atur kecepatannya melalui inverter (variable speed control). Pasa posisi tengah tabung rebusan dilengkapi dengan ” Arch Breaker ” jenis screw conveyor untuk membantu menurunkan TBS masak dengan cover plate untuk melindungi hantaman TBS saat pengisian rebusan.

Rebusan ini dilengkapi dengan system hydraulic dan pneumatic yang akan di kendalikan oleh sebuah panel pusat PLC dengan mimic diagram dan display record juga lokal panel yang terpasang pada lantai atas dan lantai bawah rebusan.

Konstruksi pembuatan ketel rebusan ini mengikuti peraturan IPNKK ( Depnaker ) atau setara dengannya dan dapat diterima.

Konstruksi dan perlengkapannya.

1. Badan ketel rebusan

  • Ukuran dari Vertical Sterilizer adalah 3200 mm I/D dengan tinggi 6700 mm setara dengan kapasitas 25 Ton TBS per Cycle rebusan
  • Unit VS terbuat dari material boiler SA516 G70 x 14 mm tebal. Pabrikasi dan machinery material yang dipakai mengacu pada standart unfired pressure vessel yang telah di sahkan oleh peraturan pemerintah
  • Didasar ketel rebusan dibuat lubang-lubang pengeluaran air kondensate.
  • Badan ketel rebusan dibungkus isolasi rockwool, tebal ninimal 50 mm dan kepadatan 90 kg/rn3, diikat dengan plat strip kemudian dibungkus plat aluminium tebal 0,7 mm sedemikian rupa khusus pada bagian las-lasan memanjang dan keliling dapat dibuka/ditutup kembali guna pemeriksaan INPKK ( Depnaker ).

2. Dish end & bottom cone

The top dished end and bottom cone will be lined with 3mm thick STAINLESS STEEL G304 plate.

3. Sterilizer doors

  • 2 x 1200 mm I/D SFB discharge quick actuating safety STAINLESS STEEL G304 door
  • One discharge regulator
  • Arch breaker device
  • The door will be actuated by manual or hydraulic device.

4. SFB Discharge Regulator & Arch Breaker

  • 1 ( satu ) buah Arch breaker jenis screw conveyor dipasang lengkap dengan packing pelindung uap (air tight packing) yang di gerakkan oleh electric motor 5.5 kW lengkap dengan pulley, belt, pulley guard dan base plate motor.
  • 1 ( satu ) buah discharge auger jenis screw conveyor dipasang lengkap dengan packing pelindung uap (air tight packing) yang digerakkan oleh reduction gearmotor 11 kW, di control oleh panel inverter (variable speed control)

5. Susunan katup ( valve ) pipa uap dan Condensate

  • Uap masuk melalui Header 8” pipa uap seamless sch 40 dicabangkan menjadi 3 pipa lingkar 6” masuk ke rebusan dan di ujung pipa header vertical dipasang steam trap menuju drainase.
  • Katup uap ( steam valve ) masuk dari jenis butterfly diameter 8” dapat dioperasikan secara manual atau pneumatic ( automatic control ), instalasi pipa ini dilengkapi dengan katup jenis globe valve dan katup pencegah balik ( check valve ) diameter 8” kemudian di reducer pipa diameter 6”.
  • 1 ( satu ) katup pengaman diameter 6” jenis double bore relief valve dipasang di salah satu ujung ketel dan dapat distel/diadjust sampai tekanan maksimun 4 kg/cm2.
  • Uap keluar ( exhaust ) melalui katup uap diameter 8” jenis butterfly dan dapat dioperasikan secara manual ataupun pnuematic ( automatic control ). Katup uap ( steam valve ) diameter 2” juga terpasang secara by pass pada exhaust.
  • Instalasi pipa keluar ( exhaust) menuju blow down chamber dilengkapi dengan katup pencegah balik ( check valve ) diameter 8”.

6. Instruments

2 ( dua ) manometer model bulat ( Pressure Gauge ) dengan penunjukan jarum, berdiameter 203 mm, range tekanan 0 – 4kg/cm2, masing-masing dipasang di kedua ujung rebusan posisi diatas pintu lengkap dengan O-siphon, 1/2 “ ball valve dan nipple.

1 ( satu ) termometer model bulat ( Temperature Gauge ) dengan penunjuk jarum, diameter 152 mm, suhu 0 – 200 derajat celcius untuk mengukur dibagian bawah rebusan dan terpasang ditengah rebusan.

Pada posisi Blind Flange bagian atas VS terdapat 3 ( tiga ) sock drat untuk :

  • Temperature transmitter.
  • Pressure gauge lengkap dengan O-siphon, ½” ball valve, nipple.
  • Pressure transmitter lengkap dengan O-siphon, ½” ball valve, nipple.

7. Air Compressor dan Air dryer

Satu (1) unit air compressor jenis single stage dan air dryer kapasitas 700 litre/minute, tekanan 8 bar lengkap dengan receiver tank, relief valve, pressure gauge, air hose, pressure differential sensor for automatic stop/start. Digerakkan oleh electric motor 5 HP, 3 Phase, 380 VAC, 50 Hz.

Telescopic Chute dan Sliding door

Setiap vertical sterilizer dilengkapi dengan telescopic chute ( corong ) pemasukan TBS dan sliding dor pada Conveyor Distributor ke Vertical Sterilizer. Chute ini dirancang sedemikian rupa dapat bergerak turun saat pintu atas VS di buka, kemudian sliding dor yang terpasang pada bottom conveyor distribusi akan membuka jalannya TBS untuk turun saat pengisian. Apabila pengisian VS selesai ( penuh ), sliding dor akan menutup disusul telescopic chute akan bergerak naik kemudian pintu atas sterilizer akan menutup dan ring lock akan mengunci pintu sterilizer.

Rebusan yang terpasang akan dilengkapi dengan Panel Pusat ( pengatur perebusan otomatis ) lengkap dengan Mimic Diagram, PLC,

  • Time and Pressure

Pada posisi atas terdapat remote panel lengkap dengan push button dan indicator lamp pada setiap rebusan untuk menggerakkan 4 cylinder hydraulic yaitu : sliding door, telescopic chute, door open dan ring lock.

Pada posisi bawah terdapat remote panel ( 1 set 2 rebusan) untuk menggerakkan cylinder hydraulic door, ring lock, arch breaker screw, auger screw untuk rebusan 1 dan 2.

Sebuah sistem instalasi hydraulic yang terdiri dari Hydraulic power pack, hose, tubing, fittings, manifold dan solenoid valve untuk menggerakkan cylinder.  Cylinder tersebut terpasang pada tiap individual door, lock ring, sliding door dan telescopic chute yang bekerja secara interlock. System interlock bekerja melalui proximity switch yang terpasang 2 (dua) unit pada tiap cylinder hydraulic.

Sistem Pneumatic

Sebuah sistem instalasi pneumatic yang terdiri dari air compressor, air dryer, hose, tubing dan fittings untuk menggerakkan pneumatic valve yang di control secara electric dari panel PLC. Pneumatic valve tersebut terpasang pada tiap inlet pipa steam dan pipa exhaust rebusan. Instalasi pneumatic juga di gunakan untuk air guns pada pintu atas dan bawah untuk memebersihkan pintu dari kotoran sebelum di tutup.

MILESTONE OF VERTICAL STERILIZER

  • FFB dropping from height causes mechanical damages on to the internal parts
  • FFB knocking and bruising cause high oil loss and increases FFA

THE GREAT ARCH

  • Vertical Sterilizer (latest version) is designed to create arching effect during sterilization (under pressure)
  • This will lessen the compactness of the sterilized fruit inside the VS
  • Once the discharge door is opened, the SFB bridging (arching) will collapse naturally
  • No more downtime due to bridging during SFB (sterilized fruit bunch) discharge

Horizontal Sterilizer and Cages System

  • FFB are loaded into cages and charged into the sterilizer for cooking
  • Area taken up by horizontal sterilizer is dependent on the size of cages
  • Uses a lot of cages –ranges from 40 units @ USD2800 per cage
  • Uses 5 railway tracks for a 45tones/hr mill
  • Modern Mill uses tippler incl. conveyor, transfer carriage, winch, indexer, etc
  • Sterilization Station is very long to accommodate length of sterilizers and large marshalling yard is required
  • Oil losses resulting from spilled fruitlesduring loading to cage, transfer to sterilizer and out to thresher, oil dripping from cage and sterilizer condensate.
  • Triple or double sterilizing cycle is required for proper cooking.-Condensate oil cannot be recovered due to iron pick-up.-Reduced cages lifespan
  • Savings of labor as less manpower is required to operate the mill
  • High maintenance cost for railway, tracks, boogie wheels for cages, overhead crane/ tippler, winch / capstan, prime movers, marshalling yards upkeep.
